§ 3.16.040. License—Payment date—Delinquency penalties—Termination hearing.

    License fees shall be paid to the city clerk no later than January 15th, and if any are not paid by that date then a late penalty of five dollars ($5.00) per day shall be imposed in addition to the payment of any license fees.

    B.

    If any license fees and any penalties are not paid by February 15th, then the city clerk shall schedule a hearing before the mayor and city council and shall give the delinquent notice thereof. At the hearing, the mayor and city council shall determine whether the delinquent has paid the license fee and any penalty. If the mayor and city council find that the license fee and the penalty have not been paid, then the operation of the business shall be terminated.
